Our Story
Every great journey starts with a small idea.
The idea behind AssamMentor came from a real-life experience.
For many years, I noticed that students living near my home frequently asked me for school notes and study materials. Some were studying in Class V, while others were in Class VIII, Class IX, Class X, and higher classes.
They often asked questions like:
- "Do you have notes for this chapter?"
- "Can you explain this topic?"
- "Where can I find good question answers?"
- "Can you help me prepare for my exams?"
As I spent more time helping them, I realized that many of these students could not afford private tuition classes or expensive guidebooks. They wanted to study, but they simply did not have access to good learning materials.
This made me think deeply.
A Problem That Needed a Solution
After the COVID-19 pandemic, online learning became a part of everyday education.
Students started searching Google for notes, grammar lessons, question answers, and study materials.
But I noticed another challenge.
Although there were many educational websites, finding simple, accurate, and trustworthy study materials for Assam students was still difficult.
Many websites had incomplete notes.
Some had outdated information.
Others used difficult language that many school students could not understand.
Students often had to visit several different websites just to study one chapter.
This wasted valuable time and created confusion.
The Question That Changed Everything
"If students living near my home are facing this problem, then how many students across Assam are facing the same challenge?"
That question became the beginning of AssamMentor.
I decided to build a website where every student could access quality study materials completely free of cost.
A place where students could learn confidently without depending on expensive tuition or guidebooks.
That dream became AssamMentor.
Our Mission
